After the great success that was the Saber Talk Awards 2025, with voting taking place through December of last year and January of this one, we crowned the winners of the awards with their trophies at the 9th Open de France this weekend!

For this Second Edition of the Saber Talk, we want to involve you, the fighters, even more so than we did last year.

So once again, there will be the prestigious Fighter of the Year award, alongside 6 other awards which we want to put to a vote to decide, to make the awards as open and community centred as they can be.

Sadly, two of the awards will not be featured in this next edition, these being Most Underrated, because to us here at Saber Talk it feels like a contradiction that the Most Underrated fighter is voted in by a majority of the community, so we have endeavoured to produce an alternative – the Rising Star award. This, if selected, will reveal the fighters the community believes to have the most potential to become one of the future stars of the Saber Tour.

To increase fighter participation, we want to involve you in the selection of the awards, so in this first stage we invite you to fill out the google form linked below to suggest any awards you would like to see in the voting this season, and also any that you really would not like to see.
